Today I went for a day cruise with some friends on this old boat. This is in Oman, about a 2 hour drive from Dubai. We stopped at several points to go snorkeling, then they served us a nice meal of roasted barracuda. It would have gone smoothly except at one point we got marooned when the skipper let the boat drift aground on some rocks. We got rescued about an hour later when we were able to board another dhow that
came along.
